This Act regulates the processing of information relating to individuals, including the holding, use or disclosure of such information. Our data is stored in a secure, protected database.

We may use the information you provide to communicate with you.  If you don't wish to receive news of our special offers and promotions, you can 'opt out' by logging into your account, clicking on "My Account" on the blue banner at the top, clicking "Subscribe or unsubscribe from newsletters" and then unchecking the General Newsletter box. If you do this, you will not receive any other information from us as a result of supplying us with personal data unless you specifically 'opt in' again.

We may also use non-personal information in aggregate form for analysis and marketing purposes. By using this website you agree that we may collect and use data as described above. Should your personal information change, or you no longer require the services you have consented to, please e-mail us at sales@salamandercookshop.com and we will ensure that our records are updated with immediate effect.
salamandercookshop.com reserves the right to share any information provided in response to a legal process, such as a court order or subpoena.

Errors & Ommissions

If the price of a Salamandercookshop item is shown incorrectly owing to a technical or other error, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for that item.  This does not effect your statutory rights.

Voucher Codes

Voucher code offers exclude electricals, kitchen trolleys, spare parts and items already discounted (which includes items discounted as a result of buying three or more of the same brand).  Each voucher code offer is limited to one per customer.

Our special offer and promotional prices are only available while stocks last.

Guarantee and returns

1. We offer a no quibble, money-back guarantee if you wish to exchange or have your order refunded.  The item must be unused and in the original condition and packaging, and be returned to us within 28 days from despatch.  Please do not remove labels or packaging, and where possible please repack the items in their original wrapping.  Please note that post and packaging costs are non-refundable and at your expense.
   
2. In the event of an item being faulty, or being damaged in transit to you, we will cover all costs for postage and either refund or exchange the goods.  When returning items that are faulty, we recommend sending them by Royal Mail Second Class Post.   If the package is too heavy to go second class please send by Standard Parcels. If you choose to send it back by another more expensive method then we will refund you what it would have cost to send by Second Class Post or Standard Parcels.  When returning items please always ensure that you retain proof of postage.
   
3. Should a product fail due to faulty workmanship or materials you may have a claim against the manufacturer. Please contact us should you wish to make such a claim.

Packaging

We normally re-use the outer packaging from our suppliers. We will endeavour to deliver your purchases with all possible haste, which in some cases may mean that there is more than one package for the same order.

Payments

We use a fully encrypted credit/debit card service.  Payments should be made either by this method or by using PayPal or Google Wallet.  If paying by credit/debit card, orders of £200 or over must be placed using a card which is enrolled for 3D Secure/Verified by Visa or via Google Wallet.

Data Protection

We do not require any more details from you than those needed to fulfil your order; we do not retain your credit card number after payment has cleared.
